Site Redesign Case Study - Joyce Engineering, Inc.
In the early months of 2001, Joyce Engineering, Inc. of Richmond, Virginia, came to Summit Design with a problem. They had a Web site that was not driving their message home with clients and potential clients as much they anticipated. Joyce was in the midst of a makeover of all of their printed promotional materials and believed that now was the time to consider a review and reworking of their Web presence as well. DesignVisions, a Richmond-based graphic design company, suggested that Joyce contact Summit Design for assistance. Joyce's Marketing Director contacted Summit Design for an evaluation of their existing site. After a few initial conversations, it was clear that an extremely positive outcome could be fashioned from an alliance between Joyce, DesignVisions and Summit.

Using the site style and theming developed for printed materials by DesignVisions, Summit was able to re-fashion the exisiting site into a streamlined, refined and sleek new presence for Joyce. Along the way, we were also able to add some key new features that made the site even more useful. Please see below for some comparison screen shots.
