Site Redesign Case Study - Orphan Helpers
In late 2001, Norman Witten, Webmaster for Orphan Helpers, in Newport News, Virginia set out to search the net for a design company to help him redefine the organizations Web site. Ironically, he went through the search engines and found help in his own "backyard." Norman talked at length with Summit Design about his needs. Norman himself was well-practiced as an HTML developer, but he wasn't comfortable with his creative abilities. That's where Summit came in. Norman was looking for a fresh look for his Web site. He needed to update the look and attract new volunteers and contributors by creating a site that was both warm and professionally refined at the same time.

Using the existing themes built upon by the organization and a similar logo to the original, Summit and Norman created a site style that Norman could take with him and change at his leisure. The door was left open and Summit and Norman enjoy regular communication about the site. Norman and Orphan Helpers were very pleased with the results of the collaboration and the site continues to be a successful vehicle used to convey the Orphan Helpers mission....

"Summit Design has been great to work with. He has helped us design our new and exciting Orphan Helpers Web site. I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for fresh ideas and talent."
